Meet the Photographer

Carol Riddle Pictures tell the story of life. They are the "caught in the moment" expressing the beautiful, complex, interesting, confusing, ever changing, always growing, adventurous, and colorful experience of life. They often lead us on a journey, inspire us, and bring back memories. In every moment, I am looking for the angle, perspective, light, hues, and emotion to capture the indescribable of life in a photograph or artistic expression. My heartbeat is taking pictures of the elusive...a breeze, a mountain's majesty, a garden's solace, the adventure of a road or pathway, springtime's whisper, the welcoming gestures of gentle landscapes, the dramatic voice of the deep ocean, the smell of hay in a barn, a pasture's freedom, love shared beyond a picket fence, second chances in a flower's bloom, a snowy landscape's aria, the serenade of a creek, a storm's passion, humanities' interdependence, nature's simplicity, and so much more. My entire life is filled with miracles, beginning as a child abandoned at birth and later adopted. More than a camera's lens, that's the "lens of wonder" through which I see everything in life and every photographic, artistic moment of opportunity.
